New Delhi: The universe works in delightful ways, often giving us the feeling that somewhere, a miracle is taking place.

The Planetary Society shared two videos on Tuesday, that are nothing short of a miracle. Both videos were captured by Japan's Kaguya lunar orbiter in October 2008.

Three Japanese scientific probes comprising the Selenological and Engineering Explorer (SELENE) mission orbited the Moon from 2007 to 2009, collecting troves of data along with some spectacular photos.

The Japanese Space Agency, JAXA, publicly released all of the images captured by the mission’s primary photographer, Kaguya, this week.

The two videos captured in high resolution will take your breath away, because they are the kind that one would want to play on loop.

No renderings, no editing, no special effects, these are actual footage as seen by Japan's spacecraft and are 100 percent authentic.

The first video shows a lovely Earthrise from the moon, wherein you can also see the lovely rise of a star-like Venus. In the second video, watch as the Earth sets in the glare of the sun as captured by the Kaguya lunar orbiter in October 2008.
