However, the makers of the film are yet to confirm the report officially. Meanwhile, the trailer of the film is expected to be out soon.

The Kamal Haasan starrer was shot as a single film, but due to its length, the makers planned to release the film in two parts. The first part was lauded for its high-octane action screenplay. The second part, according to multiple sources, will be more intense than the first as it is loaded with action and will be high on emotions.

The film also stars Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar and Shekhar Kapoor and Rahul Bose in pivotal roles.

Kamal Haasan has written, directed and co-produced the spy thriller which will simultaneously be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The music has been given by Ghibran.

Haasan recently announced his full-fledged political plunge as he started his political career formally by floating his party - Makkal Needhi Maiam. The actor stated that he would quit films once he enters full-time politics.

Haasan also has 'Indian 2' with director Shankar in his kitty. The project marks the reunion of Kamal and Shankar after a long hiatus and will roll from the second half of this year. The first installment of the film was released in 1996 and starred Haasan in a dual role. Manisha Koirala,  Urmila Matondkar, Sukanya and Goundamani appeared in pivotal roles.

The pre-production of 'Indian 2' began from February 2018. As per several speculations, the project might be the legendary actor's last film.
