Illayathalapathy Vijay looks captivating in brand new ‘Mersal’ poster

A brand new poster of Illayathalapathy Vijay’s ‘Mersal’ has been unveiled just a day before the release of the teaser of one of the most awaited films of the year.

In the poster, we can see Vijay looking dashing in a rustic avatar. Along with him is Malayalam beauty Nithya Menen and a little boy, who supposedly essays his on-screen son. This is Nithya’s first film with Vijay and oh boy, they look dayum awesome together. Another striking feature in the poster is a beautifully decorated bull, which could probably have a Jallikattu connection.

The film directed by Atlee has music composed by Oscar award winning composer AR Rahman and also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu besides Kajal Aggarwal.

‘Mersal’ which happens to be Thenandal Studio Limited’s 100th project, will release on October 18.
