Rajasthan: BJP Mandalgarh MLA Kirti Kumari dies of swine flu

Jaipur: BJP Mandalgarh MLA Kirti Kumari died on Monday. She was suffering from swine flu.

The 50-year-old legislator was being treated at Fortis Hospital in Jaipur. She was kept on the ventilator after she complained of difficulty in breathing. She died at around 7 am on Monday.

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje took to Twitter to offer condolences:

Several BJP members reached in the hospital to offer condolences.

Kumari had defeated the Opposition Congress candidate by a large margin in 2013 assembly election.

Over 15 people have died of swine flu in Rajasthan in August 2017.
