Beverages Used as Welcome Drinks Around the World
Different types of Refreshing Beverages whether Cold or Warm are served around the world when somebody visits the House. There are various types of drinks around the world. Some of them are:
Masala Chai
This Welcome Drink is given in India which depicts Warmth and Hospitality. It is made by mixing Milk, Water, Ginger, Tea Leaves, Cardamom, Cinnamon and Cloves. It is a Comforting start to any gathering.
Thai Iced Tea
This tea is served in Thailand and is also known as Cha Yen. This beverage is made by blending Brewed Black Tea, Condensed Milk (Sweetened) and Evaporated Milk. It is garnished with Mint.
Mojito
This refreshing beverage is served in Cuba as a welcome drink. It is a cocktail combined with White Rum, Lime Juice, Soda Water, Sugar and garnished with Mint Leaves. It sets a refreshing and celebratory mood for everyone in the room.
Fruit Punch
This tropical beverage is served in the Caribbean. This concoction is made up with many different fruits such as Pineapple, Strawberries , apple, oranges, grapes etc. These fruits are then mixed with Ginger Ale or Soda Water. The Drink is garnished with other fruits before serving.
Aperol Spritz
It is a special beverage from Italy which is Orange in colour and is made with Bright Orange Liqueur, made by mixing Soda Water and Prosecco (White Sparkling Wine). It is garnished with a slice of Orange.
Sake
Originating from Japan, Sake is a ceremonial welcome drink made out of rice. It is a Traditional Rice Wine which is served chilled or warm, according to the season. It is served in Porcelain Cups.
Agua De Jamaica
The welcome drink of Mexico is red in colour. It is also known as Hibiscus Tea. it is made from Dried Hibiscus soaked in water and sweetened with sugar. It is then garnished with lemon pieces to add a zesty flavour.
