Taapsee Pannu congratulates boyfriend Mathias Boe after Thomas Cup win, know all about him - In Pics

Taapsee hailed Mathias and the Indian badminton men’s team on their glorious achievement in her Instagram stories.

He won the silver medal at the 2006 European Championships in men's doubles with Carsten Mogensen.  In 2010, Mogensen and Boe won the titles at the Denmark and French Opens. He won the Superseries Final held in Taipei.  Mogensen and Boe won the All England Open. With Mogensen, he won the silver medal in the men's doubles at the 2012 Olympics.  He took the silver medal with Mogensen in the 2013 World Championships while losing to Muhammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan in the final. Boe announced in February 2020, that the Thomas Cup or Olympic Games would be his last tournament, but in April 2020, he decided to retire as a professional badminton player at the age of 39. He revealed that, mentally, he is lately simply too exhausted both in training and competition.  He is the men's doubles coach for the Indian National Badminton team presently.

Not many would know that Mathias Boe is the coach of Pune 7 Aces, a franchise badminton team based out of Pune and owned by actress Taapsee Pannu and KRI Entertainment. The team plays at the Premier Badminton League. 

He has one brother and one sister. Their names are Nikolaj Boe and Julie Kryger Boe.

Taapsee Pannu and Mathias Boe’s relationship has been going strong for years. About her relationship with him, Taapsee Pannu told Brides Today, “Being with someone outside the industry was something I always wanted. Thankfully, very early on in my career, I ended up meeting the person who I find comfort in being with... Our perspectives are so diverse and different that our conversations are still intriguing and interesting. The cultural exchange is still so beautiful, even after so many years (sic).”

Born on 11 July 1980, Mathias is a renowned badminton player from Denmark. Reportedly, Boe started playing badminton when he was just six in Odense (the third-largest city in Denmark) and it is said that his family had a huge influence on him since his parents were badminton players too

His height is 1.85 m (6 ft 1 in). His colour of eyes is black.
