Rafael Nadal stormed into the final of Australian Open 2022. He defeated Italy`s Matteo Berrettini 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in the semi-final hereat the Rod Laver Arena to storm into his sixth Australian Open final.

Nadal's triumph in the semi-finals was also his 500th win on a hard court. He joins an elite list of male tennis players with 500 or more wins on hard court. The list includes Roger Federer (783), Novak Djokovic (634) and Andre Agassi (592).
