Payal had made a post on X, "Shami, tum apna English sudharlo, I am ready to marry you." That post had gone viral on the internet, starting an alleged relationship rumour between Shami and Payal.

Payal Ghosh is a Bengalo, who was born in Kolkata in the year 1992. She has completed her education at St Paul's Mission School and got graduated from Scottish Church College. She studied political science.

Payal is not just a membe but also the vice president of the women's wing of the Ramdas Athawale's political party. 

Payal has starred in many films such as 'Varshadhaare', 'Prayanam', 'Oosaraveli', 'Mr. Rascal' and 'Patel ki Punjabi Shaadi' among others. 

Shami is picking wickets at will in the World Cup 2023. Shami had taken 18 wickets in 6 matches of the tournament so far and the number is going to improve only. 

Shami's estranged wife had accused him of match fixing, adultery among other things. However, all such allegations have not been proved yet. 

In an interview to a TV news channel, Shami's wife had made big statement when she said that she is happy to see Shami doing well. She said that as long as Shami is doing well, he will keep earning and that will keep his and their daughter's future secured.
