She played college golf at both the University of Arizona and San Diego State University, winning All-Mountain West Conference honors during the 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons, and leading the Aztecs to their first Mountain West Conference Championship in 2015. Her bold photoshoots in magazines and on her social media page have been a subject of debate. Several sports commentators and golfers have criticized Paige for 'sexualizing' women's golf. "People seem to think I got where I am because of the clothes that I wear. That’s unfair to me and unfair to all of my accomplishments.
