Happy Birthday Ravindra Jadeja: 7 Memorable Performances Of Star India All-Rounder For Chennai Super Kings In IPL

Put into bat first, Mumbai were restricted to 157/8, thanks to Ravindra Jadeja who registered figures of 4-0-20-3. CSK then chased down the target in 18.1 overs for a memorable win. 

 

Batting first, the CSK posted a total of 148/3. In reply, Jadeja spun a web around the opposition AND registered bowling figures of 4-0-12-4 and led the Men in Yellow to a 34-run win.  

During this match, Jadeja smashed 48 runs off 29 balls to take his team to a total of 193/6 in 20 overs. The all-rounder then picked up a fifer (4-0-16-5) as Super Kings won the game by 74 runs. 

 

During a IPL 2013 match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Jadeja produced a superb all-round performance. He picked up three wickets with the ball, conceding only 20 runs in four overs and then struck a blazing 14-ball 36 not out to lead CSK to a memorable win.

 

In this match, Jadeja contributed with both bat and ball and led Super Kings to an 80-run win. The left-hander scored a quickfire 10-ball 25, helping the Super Kings post a total of 179/4. Then he registered superb bowling figures of 3-0-9-3 to help the MS Dhoni-led side bowl out the Delhi Capitals for just 99.  

In the 2021 IPL season, Jadeja scored a blistering 28-ball 62 not out against Royal Challengers Bangalore. During the match, Jadeja hit Harshal Patel for 36 runs during the 20th over of the CSK innings. Then, he picked three wickets (4-1-13-3) and helped Super Kings register a 69-run win.

 

During the thrilling final of IPL 2023, CSK needed 10 off 2 balls and Jadeja smashed 6 and 4 against Mohit Sharma and helped the MS-Dhoni led side win their fifth title in the cash-rich league.
