Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition Revealed With Larger Touchscreen, New Reverse Camera: In Pics

Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition is finally here with the visual changes as other Dark Edition models of the Tata Motors' line-up. Addition of a new black paint scheme with "Dark" emblems, blacked-out wheels, roof rails, and a host of other parts, which are seen donning a chrome finish. However, some teal blue accents are used here. 

Powering the Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition is the same powertrain as the Nexon EV Max, which utilises a 40.5 kWh battery pack that delivers a claimed range of 453 kilometres. Also, there are three driving modes and multi-mode regenerative braking on offer. Peak output stands at 143 PS/250 Nm, making it do the 0-100 kmph dash in less than 9 seconds.

The dashboard is very much like the Nexon EV Prime's Dark Edition, except for a larger touchscreen. The darker theme is followed here with subtle teal-blue accents. Also, it is loaded to the gills because the Nexon EV Max's dark edition is based on the top-spec XZ+ Lux variant.

Borrowed from the Red Dark Editions of the Harrier and Safari, a larger 10-25-inch high-res (1920x720 px) touchscreen infotainment does duties on the Tata Nexon EV Max Dark. In fact, it also comes paired with a new high-res reverse camera. The infotainment unit also supports voice commands in 6 regional languages.

The Tata Nexon EV Max Dark gets a semi-digital, semi-analogue instrument cluster, unlike the TFT LCD unit on the ICE version.

The Nexon EV does get a rather futuristic and Jaguar-inspired drive selector knob. It features a crisp display in it, which reveals the engaged mode. 

To ensure that sunroof frenzies are not running away to other products, the Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition does get one. Needless to say, it amplifies the SUV's appeal in our market.
