Three sniffer dogs Maya, Ruby and Bobby of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) deployed with the commandos in Afghanistan have returned to India after three years of service. The canines were in the flight with ITBP commandos, diplomats and civilians which landed in India on Tuesday.

Sniffer dogs of the ITBP
This is Ruby (Malinois), one of the canines who were trained at the ITBP Centre NTCD (National Training Centre for Dogs), Bhanu, in Panchkula and were deployed at the Indian Embassy in Kabul sometime in 2019.
Three sniffer dogs return to India
This one is Bobby (Doberman), he has been part of the ITBP detachment that has been working with zero errors to sniff out terror and secure Indian assets in Kabul.
Indian members evacuated from Afghanistan
Maya (Labrador) one of the three sniffer dogs was evacuated with members of the embassy and all of its staff from Afghanistan in the Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft on Monday and Tuesday.
