From thanking people for support to praising COVID warriors: What PM Modi said in Uttarakhand - in pics

Narendra Modi at the event said, "Today, several people have given their good wishes on account of me having completed 20 years as the head of a Government. I thank everyone who has wished me. Their blessings give strength and inspiration to serve to the best of my abilities."  

Modi inaugurated 35 pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen plants, established under the PM CARES fund, across 35 states and Union Territories in an event at AIIMS Rishikesh. Posting this picture on Twitter from the official PMO handle, Modi wrote, "Had the honour of inaugurating Oxygen plants across India. Through this year, the Government of India has worked extensively to augment oxygen capacity and make our healthcare infrastructure even more people friendly."

The PM, at an event in Rishikesh, said his government has been extending all help to the "new team" in the state and the "double engine" of development will take the hilly region to new heights. Patting Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's back twice during the event, Modi addressed him as "my friend" and described him as an enthusiastic CM.

Hailing the COVID workers, Narendra Modi said, "Thanks to our COVID warriors, medical community and scientists, India has fought the world's deadliest pandemic in a century with utmost courage."
