Cyclone Vayu and its menacing fury

Cyclone Vayu is expected to pass by Gujarat's coastline, bringing heavy to very heavy showers and winds gusting at triple-digit speeds.

Cyclone Vayu has been racing north-northwestwards in the Arabian Sea and has its sights firmly set on coastal Gujarat although it is unlikely to make landfall. As its name suggests, Vayu is expected to bring in high-speed winds to coastal parts of Gujarat and will also have an impact on Goa, coastal Maharashtra and some parts of coastal Karnataka.
