The condition of Maharashtra especially Mumbai is a well-known case during heavy rainfall. Western Ghats and other parts of Maharashtra leading to severe rain causing heavy traffic, waterlogging. Flooding and landslides. 

Assam goes at its worst during monsoon season especially the area near the giant Brahmaputra river. The trip during the rainy season in this area is very problematic as heavy rain makes roads and railways travel very difficult.
