Yearender 2021: Dilip Kumar to Sidharth Shukla - Actors whose deaths left a void!

This year 2021 was full of many ups and downs. While some had been lucky enough to get married in this year, there were others who lost their beloved ones due to some or the other reason. Let’s take a look at some of the famous dignitaries who left us for the heavenly abode this year.

 

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar left us for the heavenly abode on July 7, this year. He breathed his last at a Mumbai hospital. He was 98. All his family and friends were seen mourning over one of the biggest losses of Indian Cinema.

Film producer and Mandira Bedi’s husband Raj Kaushal’s sudden demise due to heart attack shook the nation to every bit. He passed away on June 30 and was 49 years old. His death left the film industry in shock, with many sharing condolences on social media.

Popular TV and film actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal breathed his last on May 1 due to COVID-19. The actor was 52-year-old. 

Rinku Singh Nikumbh, who is popularly known for her role in Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Dream Girl’, passed away due to COVID-19 on June 2. She was 35 years old and breathed her last at a hospital in Assam. 

Abhilasha Patil who has been part of many big projects in Bollywood including Badrinath Ki Dulhania passed away due to COVID complications. She breathed her last on May 4 and was 47-year-old. 

Music composer Shravan Rathod also passed away due to COVID complications. He left us for the heavenly abode on April 23 and was 66-year-old. 

Kishore Nandlaskar who is popularly known for his acting skills in Bollywood and Marathi films breathed his last on April 20. He was 81-year-old. 

Veteran actor Rajiv Kapoor who is Randhir and Rishi Kapoor’s youngest brother, breathed his last on February 9 due to cardiac arrest. He was 58-year-old. 

Surekha Sikri who is popularly known for her role of Dadisa in Ballika Vadhu, breathed her last on July 16 due to cardiac arrest. She was 75-year-old. She has featured in many Bollywood films as well and was one of the biggest loss of the industry. 

The heartthrob of TV industry, Sidharth Shukla shot to fame post his win at Bigg Boss 13. The actor who has been part of both TV and Bollywood industries, left us forever on September 2 due to massive heart attack. He breathed his last on September 2. His sudden death left his fans, family and friends in deep shock.
