Thai rapper Milli recently made waves at music festival Coachella after she ate a traditional Thai dessert Mango sticky rice on stage while performing. Her video went viral quickly and there was a surge of people searching for the term - mango sticky rice. The sales for the same even soared at Bangkok’s famous Mae Varee mango sticky rice as per a report by the Bangkok post.

Rapper Milli's performance was not just noteworthy because of her mango rice stunt, it was also important as she was the second Thai artist to perform at Coachella after Lisa from Blackpink.

What is Mango Sticky Rice?
For the unversed, Mango sticky rice is a traditional south asian dessert made of fresh mango, coconut milk, jaggery and glutinous rice. It is usually consumed during the peak summer months of April and May in Thailand.
