The festivity of Sharad Navratri and Durga Puja culminates with Vijayadashami or Dussehra. This year it is being celebrated on October 15. Durga Puja coincides with the 9-day Navratri festival. At the famous North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja, Sharbani Mukherji along with her friends and family members played the Sindoor Khela ritual.
The ritual is performed before the mother goddess is prepared for Visarjan, Bengali women play with red colour and the ritual is known as Sindoor Khela as part of her farewell. Sindoor means red vermillion and Khela refers to play. Stars visited North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti 2021 which is one of the oldest and the biggest Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai.
