While on the show, he had developed a special connection with actress Shehnaaz Gill and fans suspected that the two have been dating since. However, the two had maintained that they were only close friends. On Twitter, the rumoured couple's fans lovingly call them 'Sidnaaz' which often trends on the micro-blogging site.

Sidharth Shukla had lost his father during his modelling days
Unfortunately, Sidharth Shukla had lost his father due to a lung disorder. At the time, the late actor was pursuing his modelling career. The loss was very hard on Sidharth and he has often spoken about the emotional turmoil he suffered after his father's death.

Sidharth had studied interior designing in college
Although an iconic actor, Sidharth Shukla had not always aspired to get into the entertainment industry. In fact, he was leaning towards a career in interior designing. He did his schooling at St. Xavier's High School, Mumbai. Then he went on to study Interior Design from Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design.

Sidharth's mom encouraged him to model
It was Sidharth's mom who nudged him into modelling. In an interview with ETimes, he had revealed that she asked him to take part in the Cuffe Parade fashion contest. He had lost in the contest but was selected for a Pantaloons ad campaign. Later, he won the Best Model in the World contest which was a huge achievement.

He got his acting debut in 2008
Sidharth had made his acting debut in 2008 with the Sony TV show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na alongside Aastha Chaudhary. He has featured in several hit shows since and won the hearts of millions.
