Remembering Divya Bharti on birth anniversary: Govinda, Shah Rukh Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Sunny Deol - Her best on-screen pairings!

The iconic late female actress Divya Bharti was born on February 25, 1974. The legendary superstar made her staggering presence felt in a short span of time but managed to live through her on-screen roles and films. Starting early in her filmy career, Divya Bharti made her South debut in a Telugu film  Bobbili Raja with Venkatesh in 1990. 

After a few hits in Telugu and Tamil, Divya Bharti moved to Bollywood and made her debut with Vishwatma in 1992. After starring in a line of superhit films, Divya Bharti worked with Bollywood A-listers such as Rishi Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan, Govind, Sunny Deol amongst others. 

The actress died at the age of 19. She reportedly died after falling from her apartment balcony.

Divya Bharti and Sanjay Dutt featured together in the 1993 release titled Kshatriya. 

Divya Bharti and Suniel Shetty shared screen space in as many as three films. Their on-screen pairing was liked by the masses. 

Divya Bharti and Sanjay Kapoor were set to star in a film together. It was titled 'Kartavya'. However, due to her sudden and untimely demise, Juhi Chawla came onboard. The film released in 1995.

Divya Bharti shares a moment with Shah Rukh Khan in Deewana. The film was well-received by the audiences and was directed by Raj Kanwar. 

The legendary late actress featured with late veteran star Rishi Kapoor in Deewana, a film which also starred Shah Rukh Khan. It became the second highest-grossing film of 1992 and was a megahit among audiences.

Divya Bharti and Govinda worked together in 'Shola Aur Shabnam'. The film was helmed by David Dhawan. It was the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of the year 1992.
