This film captures a day when both decide to meet after informing their respective families about their relationship. However, after a long discussion with several funny banters, it turns out that both have failed to speak their heart out. What follows is a knock on the door with a woman asking for some ‘Chaipatti’. Unaware of her whereabouts, one of the friends decides to give her what she wants, and ends up facing the consequence of the same. This is a one-of-its-kind horror comedy film, with several edge-of-the-seat moments in a short span of time.

Aath Aana is set in rural India that was in 1980s. A 25-year-old man completes his education at Madras University to join a village school as a Maths teacher. Just moments after being introduced to his colleagues, an argument is triggered over a poem recited by the Hindi teacher. While the Hindi teacher claims that it was written by Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, the Maths teacher argues that it was penned by Dushyant Kumar Tyagi. They get into a 50-paisa bet over the same, and it sets the tone of the film.
