Lata Mangeshkar-Bappi Da to Raju Srivastav-Siddhaanth Surryavanshi: Indian celebrities who breathed their last in 2022

2022 is almost over and this year, we lost many of the eminent Indian celebrities. From musical legends to popular actors, the gaps that their deaths have left can never be replenished. Following is a list of the famous Indian personalities who breathed their last in 2022!

Lata Mangeshkar was an Indian playback vocalist and songwriter who worked in the film industry. She had been on regular therapy for pneumonia and COVID-19 for 28 days and was perhaps the most famous Indian who died in 2022.

Bappi Da had big box office hits not just in Bollywood but also in Bengali, Telugu, and Kannada movies. His songs remained popular well into the twenty-first century. He passed away on February 15, 2022, in Mumbai, of obstructive sleep apnea.

Pandit Birju Maharaj was an Indian Kathak dancer, composer, and singer who was a member of the Lucknow 'Kalka-Bindadin' Gharana. On the 16th of January 2022, just a month before his 85th birthday, he lost us all to a heart attack.

KK, or Krishnakumar Kunnath, was a prominent Indian playback singer. He gave a live music event at Nazrul Mancha auditorium in South Kolkata on May 31, 2022, he suffered a heart attack and left us all.

Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moose Wala or Sidhu Moosewala, was an Indian musician, rapper, songwriter, and actor best known for his work in Punjabi music and cinema. On May 29, 2022, unidentified assailants shot and killed Moose Wala in his automobile in Jawaharke village, Mansa district.

 

Satya Prakash Srivastav, also known by the stage names Raju Srivastav and Gajodhar, was an Indian comedian, actor, and politician who died on 21 September 2022.  

Indian actor Arun Bali, who died on October 7, 2022, appeared in a large number of movies and TV shows. 

 

Today, TV actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi died while working out at a gym. The actor was known for his performances in shows like Kkusum, Waaris, and Suryaputra Karn.
