The digital space is a vast medium for celebrities to connect with their fans. It has offered a two-way communication for the stars and their fans to interact with each other in a never-before-seen manner. Many Indian celebrities are on social media- Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter- in order to maintain the connection as well as share their lives with people around the world. It’s 2020 and there are still some celebrities who have yet to step into the social media world.  Saif Ali Khan cannot be found on any social media platform. His wife, actor Kareena Kapoor, debuted on Instagram early in 2020 and it is through her that we get glimpses of Saif’s private life. Ranbir Kapoor took the internet by storm after he revealed in a recent interview about his marriage plans with Alia Bhatt which got postponed due to COVID-19. Ranbir will star opposite Alia in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmāstra.

Veteran actress Rekha is a popular dancer and a succesful artist with films like 'Silsila', 'Umrao Jaan', 'Muqaddar Ka Sikandar' to her credit. Rekha made her debut at the age of 12 in the Telugu film, Rangula Ratnam in 1966.

Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan is the Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha from the Samajwadi Party. She is not on social media but her family members keep sharing pictures with her. Her granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, recently posted photographs on Instagram of the Bachchan and Nanda families' Christmas party.
