Hina Khan Diagnosed With Stage 3 Cancer; Manisha Koirala To Other Bollywood Actresses Who Battled The Deadly Disease

 The news of Hina Khan being diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer came as a rude shock to the industry and her fans. The actress took to her Instagram and shared the statement that read, "Hello Everyone, To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I want to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger".

Before Hina Khan, many other actresses battled and overcome cancer and one of them was Heeramandi actress Manisha Koirala. Manisha was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012. She underwent treatment in the United States, including surgery and chemotherapy, and shared her journey with the public, becoming an advocate for cancer awareness and early detection. By 2013, she announced that she was cancer-free. Since then, she has been involved in various health campaigns and has authored a memoir titled "Healed: How Cancer Gave Me a New Life," where she details her experiences and recovery process.  

Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in July 2018. She sought treatment in New York, where she underwent chemotherapy and other therapies. Throughout her treatment, she shared her journey and updates on social media, inspiring many with her strength and positivity. By December 2018, she returned to India and continued her recovery.

Mahima Chaudhary revealed in June 2022 that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent treatment, including chemotherapy, and has since recovered. Mahima shared her experience publicly, highlighting the importance of early detection and the emotional and physical challenges faced during treatment.  

Bollywood's veteran actress Kirron Kher was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer, in 2021. She received treatment for the disease, including chemotherapy, and has been vocal about her health journey. Her courage and resilience have inspired many.
