Bigg Boss 14: A look at most dramatic, controversial moments from this season

During the show, Rubina and Rahul have locked horns more times than we can count. Rahul claimed Rubina was too 'egoistic', whereas Rubina felt Rahul was a 'male chauvinist'. In January, a fight erupted between the two when Rahul made a critical comment on Rubina and Abhinav's romantic relationship. The former said, "Abhinav iss ghar ka sabse bada user hai... aur joh apni biwi ka nahi hosaka woh kisi ka kya hoga." Rubina was furious after hearing this comment and started fighting with the singer. She retorted back by questioning his masculinity and asked, "Mard Hai?"

One of the most emotional moments of Bigg Boss 14 was when Aly Goni broke down over Jasmin Bhasin’s eviction from the house. Jasmin and Aly were a strong couple and watching Jasmin leave him alone in the house left Aly Goni weeping like a baby. Many fans expressed on social media how Goni's emotional reaction had an effect on them as well.

Rakhi was consistently getting in-between Abhinav and Rubina's relationship this season. In February, Rakhi used offensive words against Abhinav following which Rubina retorted back, called her 'wahiyat, gandi aurat'. Rubina got a whiff of their fight and to defend Abhinav, she angrily threw a bucket of soap water on Rakhi. Bigg Boss later punished Rubina for her act by nominating her for the remaining weeks.

Rakhi Sawant and Nikki Tamboli had a face-off when Rakhi Sawant abused Nikki and also calling her plastic along with other insults. Nikki then asked Rakhi to return the scrunchies she had lent her. However, Rakhi responded that she will return it after she is done with her work in the kitchen. Nikki accused her of lying and not doing any work in the kitchen. This irked Rakhi and she demanded Nikki to return her eyeshadow and accused her of exhausting her make-up products. Nikki offered her a brand eyeshadow palette but Rakhi labelled it as 'cheap' and threw it on the floor. 

In a fight, Arshi Khan had cursed Devoleena Bhattacharjee that she would lose someone/something close to her heart. Soon after, Arshi lost her soft toy, Sheru and started crying at the news of her pet Angel falling sick. Devoleena blamed Arshi's words for her losses and then began throwing crockery at Arshi, damaging Bigg Boss property. As a punishment, she was nominated for the rest of the show.

In one of the episodes, when Rubina Dilaik asked about a used plate on the kitchen slab, Nikki admitted it was her plate. Vikas commented on this by telling Nikki to wash the plate and keep it in its place. Nikki didn’t like Vikas' tone and said, "Mai tumhari gharwali ya dost nahi jo tum mujhe aise bologe, 'A dho k rakh' Isko usko chumma chati karte ho (I am not your wife or friend that you can talk to me in this way 'Hey, go wash and keep it'! You keep kissing people)."  Vikas became defensive about the kissing comment and a nasty fight ensued between the two.

During one of the tasks, Aly Goni snatched a cycle from Abhinav Shukla and threw it in the pool. Abhinav lost his cool over this and called Aly 'ghatiya' (bad) as an insult. Later, they engaged in a verbal back and forth which resulted in Abhinav physically pushing Aly. Aly's close friend Jasmin, who was friends with Abhinav was very upset with the latter's actions.

On Disha Parmar's birthday, her long time friend Rahul Vaidya surprised her by proposing to her and confessing his love. It was a romantic gesture that had everyone in awe. After weeks of anticipation, Disha finally gave her answer to Rahul on Valentine's Day by accepting his proposal.

In one of the more emotional episodes, television producer Vikas Gupta was seen sharing intimate details about his family life and broken relationships. He told his housemates how his mother didn’t accept his sexual orientation. He also spoke about going bankrupt and having a debt of Rs 1.8 crores. In a shocking revelation, he said his family only used him for his money.

As a grand romantic gesture, ex-contestant of the show Pavitra Punia visited the Bigg Boss house to surprise her lover Eijaz Khan. Pavitra called out to Eijaz and said, ‘O Khan Sahab' which made Eijaz run towards her, unable to control his excitement. He confessed to her that he missed her a lot and couldn’t wait to come out and spend time with her.
