Many Bhojpuri celebrities including actors and singers have been hit by controversies related to objectionable MMS videos. From Kajal Raghwani and Priyanka Pandit to singer Shilpi Raaj - the Bhojpuri celebs have been allegedly named in the intimate videos that surfaced online on various platforms. Last year, Bhojpuri actress Trisha Kar Madhu's private video leaked online. The intimate video with her boyfriend hit the internet and went viral within minutes. She later urged fans to delete it. Meanwhile, after her controversial private video got leaked, Madhu even took to social media to warn those who reportedly made the video go viral. However, she did not clarify who shot the video, or how did it reach the social media platforms.

Bhojpuri singer Shilpi Raj who is known for her songs such as Laika Pahilka Ha, Neeli Neeli Akhiyan made headlines after a controversial video allegedly featuring her went viral on the internet. The video, although not authenticated, reportedly features her in a compromising position with her alleged boyfriend Vijay Chauhan. Owing to the controversial nature of the video, Shilpi responded to the buzz as well on social media through a live video. She was seen crying and making an appeal to netizens to stop sharing the video. 

Bhojpuri actress, Priyanka Pandit, went viral on social media in 2021. After the video went viral, Pandit came before the media and alleged that someone conspired against her in a bid to take personal revenge. "The viral video is not mine. The girl showing the sexual content only looks like me. The video is also old," Pandit told reporters. Sources said that Pandit has also submitted a written complaint with the police in connection with the matter.

Sometime back, an alleged MMS video surfaced online claiming it to be of top Bhojpuri actress Kajal Raghwani. However, the actress denied such allegations and bashed the haters. The video was reportedly not of the star and apparently a fake one.
