White House new website has a secret message for coders: Read to know what that is

Joe Biden was being sworn in as the President of the United States on January 20. The 78-year-old veteran Democrat leader, was administered the oath of office by Chief Justice John Roberts at the West Front of the US Capitol in Washington, the traditional location for presidential inaugural ceremonies, where a deadly violence took place just two weeks ago. Biden enters the White House with several challenges ahead like the raging pandemic that has killed more than 4,00,000 Americans and thrown millions into economic distress. 

With the swearing in of the new American President, the recently updated website has also gained a lot of attraction. The White House new website has a secret message for coders, who are savvy enough to find it.

The recently updated website for President Joe Biden`s White House https://www.whitehouse.gov carried an invitation for tech specialists.

Hidden in the HTML code was an invitation to join the US Digital Service, a technology unit within the White House. "If you`re reading this, we need your help building back better," the message said.

Former President Barack Obama had launched the service in 2014 to recruit technologists to help revamp government services - for example by modernizing Medicare`s payment system or reforming hiring practices across government agencies. Tech specialists join the Digital Service for typically one or two years.
