Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder 2022, India's first mid-size Hybrid SUV - Detailed Image Gallery: IN PICS

Toyota has unveiled its first ever mid-SUV called the Urban Cruiser Hyryder in India, which also happens to be the first mass-produced strong hybrid SUV. 

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is being made in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki, and will be produced at Toyota's Karnataka plant.

Maruti Suzuki India, the country's largest carmaker will also launch its own version of the Hyryder as their first ever hybrid vehicle and is expected to name it Maruti Suzuki Vitara.

As for the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, company has only unveiled the SUV and the pricing will be revealed later. The SUV gets many segment first features. 

The Toyota Hyryder, once launched, will become the country's first ever mid-size SUV to have a strong hybrid as well and all-wheel drive technology. 

Toyota will be offering the Urban Cruiser Hyryderin four trims namely E, S, G and V trims, with the Strong-hybrid powertrain available on top three variants. 

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder will get an 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 6-speaker Arkamys sound and wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay.

It will also get Panoramic sunroof (strong hybrid), Head-up display (strong hybrid), 6 airbags, Drive modes (AWD), 360-degree camera among other features.
