Toyota launches Legender 4x4 SUV in India: Price, features and specs

Toyota Kirloskar has launched the Legender 4x4 SUV with an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 42.33 lakh in India.

Toyota Legender 4x4 SUV is powered by a 2.8 litre diesel engine capable of generating a power output of 204 PS. The engine is mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission (AT), Toyota said in a statement.

Toyota had first launched the Legender in '4X2' diesel variant together in January 2021 along with the new Toyota Fortuner. The new car is the 4x4 variant of the Legender. 

Toyota Legender 4x4 SUV packs catamaran-style front and rear bumpers. The four-wheeler also gets 18-inch multi-layered machine-cut finished alloys. Coming to the interiors, the car features a dual-tone theme, wireless charging support and rear USB ports, among others.

Toyota has so far sold more than 2,700 units of the 4x2 Legender.  "The Legender has seen increasing sales and till date, we have sold more than 2,700 units of the 4X2 variant across the country," Sigamani said. 

 

 

"The new Legender 4X4 AT variant is another such initiative as many customers expressed a desire for a 4X4 variant for even more enhanced performance," he added.
