Skoda unveils mid-sized SUV Kushaq: Check out the top new features

The SUV is 4,221 mm long, 1,760 mm wide and has a height of 1,612 mm. Its long wheelbase of 2,651 mm, which is among the longest in the segment and a ground clearance of 188 mm.

In terms of front design, the company has given an aggressive and bold look. It has sleek LED headlights, sharp lines on the bumpers, body cladding and LED DRLs. The car gets 16-inch alloy wheels in the base model and 17-inch in the top model.

The company said the mid-sized SUV would come with two petrol engines with power output ranging between 85 kW (115 PS) and 110 kW (150 PS). The BSVI compliant engine comes mated with a six-speed manual gearbox, a six-speed automatic and a seven-speed DSG transmission.

The Kushaq comes with various active and passive safety features including hill-hold control and a tyre pressure monitor system, up to six airbags among others.

In terms of features, it has rain-sensing wipers, tire pressure monitoring, cruise control, rear Type-C USB ports, sunroof, wireless charging. In terms of safety, the car gets six airbags (only in the top variant), electronic stability control (standard), hill hold control, ISOFIX child seat mount, multi-collision braking, front and rear parking sensors and a rear parking camera.

The Skoda Kushaq will be available in the market in a total of 5 colors, including Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Carbon Steel, Honey Orange and Tornado Red.
