While his much talked about venture Akasa Air maide its maiden flight last week, he could not see the completion of his opulent 13-floor home in Mumbai. Jhunjhunwala had bought the building --called Ridgeway Apartments-- at Mumbai's Malabar Hill from Standard Chartered and HSBC. Both the banks owned 6 apartments each in the building. Moneycontrol said that Jhunjhunwala is constructing an opulent 13-floor home in the building.
