PM-KISAN (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) Scheme

PM-KISAN Scheme or Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi aims to provide financial support to farmers, the backbone of the country. Under the scheme, the government offers Rs 6000 every year in three instalments of Rs 2000 each to over 14.5 crore farmers across India. The funds are transferred directly to the bank accounts of the farmers.

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Pension Yojana

Another scheme launched by PM Modi to support the farmers is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Pension Yojana. The scheme aims to offer a fixed monthly pension of Rs 3,000 to farmers across the country. 

 

Farmers in the age group of 18-40 years co-invest in the scheme jointly to secure their retirement age. The spouse of the beneficiary is entitled to receive 50% of the pension amount in case of the death of the beneficiary.  

Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana

Launched by PM Modi, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana is a financial inclusion scheme aimed at offering affordable banking services to all households in India. The schemes offer Indians a slew of services such as zero balance account, access to easy credit, insurance, and regular pension, among others.
