Elon Musk wants to bring THESE changes in Twitter, if he buys it
Twitter will see certain changes in features if Elon Musk is successful in buying the microblogging platform at $43 billion. He has pitched for 5 changes in Twitter. Check out the changes below.
Twitter Verifications
Finally, Musk plans to simplify verifications. This means that users who want to be verified will have an easier and faster process to go through.
Twitter edit feature
SpaceX CEO has been vocal about the company's staunch dedication to free expression. Musk has frequently criticised the regulating tactics and features of social media platforms, and if he gains control of Twitter, he will endeavour to make the platform adhere to free speech. While Musk has often criticised regulations and stressed his desire for free speech platforms, figuring out how to combat misinformation, fake news, and hate speech on Twitter will still require work.
Twitter edit feature
Musk will also work on providing the much-desired edit feature, which will allow users to change their Tweets after they have been posted. Musk has been a supporter of the edit function, and shortly after purchasing his 9.2 percent ownership, he sponsored a Twitter poll asking followers if Twitter should have an edit button.
Scam bots
As Musk announced earlier this week, he will also remove the scam bots that have plagued the microblogging site.
Elon Musk wants to change Twitter
In a tweet, Pranay Pathole, a software developer who has previously interacted with Musk on Twitter, stated that Musk will primarily focus on five concerns. These are intended to make the platform's algorithm open source, allowing anybody to view Twitter's code.
