Credit Card to LPG Connection: THESE new rules from October 1 will impact you, in PICS

RBI Card Tokenisation
The relaxation for the card tokenization will end from October 1. It will become mandatory for third-party payment apps and platforms to use an alternative 16-digits tokenise number instead of actual card details during the transactions. It will help to keep away sensitive information of shoppers to be exposed publicly.
Changes in process flow of e-nomination for NPS
PFRDA stated in a circular that nomination request would be accepted automatically in the CRA system if the Nodal Office didn’t take any action against it within the allotted 30 days period. It will be effective from October 1, 2022, as per the circular issued on August 25, 2022.
No free LPG connection
The extension period for the Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana (PMUY) given by the Union Cabinet is set to end on October 1. The extension was given till September for availing free cooking gas cylinders under PMUY.
OTP permission mandatory
Card issuers must have to get the OTP permission from the card holder within 30 days after issuing a card. Card issuers can’t imply extra charges on customers in case they decline the permission.
