Battlegrounds Mobile India lite APK links are fake! Check how to spot malicious ones

While Krafton is yet to announce the launch of a lite version of the BGMI game, malicious actors are cashing on the impatience of gamers looking to play the title on low-end smartphones.

Several websites are sharing malicious links to Battlegrounds Mobile India Lite APK, which are not just fake but also contain malware that can put your device and data inside it at risk. 

So far, a few websites, some of which are even popular, are spreading fake BGMI lite APK links. These websites include MPNRC, WRONG HAT OFFICIAL, awnews, Wazir Tech, APSSB.in and Police Results, according to a report by BGR.in.

Gamers should always download the games from official and verified stores such as Google Play Store. If you’re downloading the game directly, you need to ensure that you are downloading it from the official website of the gaming developer. 

Krafton is unlikely to launch the lighter version of the BGMI because the Korean game developer has recently rolled out a low-resolution option inside the app of the popular game.
