As Apple discontinues iPods, here’s looking at 6 popular iPods that changed how we grooved to music

iPod Nano 7 was a budget music listening device which existed along with the iPhone even though they came with basic features -- Bluetooth and impressive storage.

iPod Classic was one of the most preferred music listening devices. A generation grew up listening to songs on the now discounted device. It used to come with a decent enough storage to store all the titles in one place.

iPod Mini 1 was also one of the most popular iPods of its time. The palm-sized device used to come in pretty colours and the classic wheel gave iPods the much-loved look to it.

The Touch 7 (an iPhone without the phone) beats the Nano 6 (a multitouch Shuffle). The Nano 6 just tries a little too hard for its too-small screen. The Touch 7 was Apple's last model before it discontinued the iPod line on May 10, 2022.

iPod Shuffle 1 offered a standard USB plug, which was missing from all its peers. The screenless device offered limited storage but had impressive sound quality.
