The success of the Tata Punch is favored by its affordable pricing, usable features, high ground clearance, and SUV-like design. It tops the chart of best-selling cars in June 2024, registering a total sales of 18,238 units.

Tata Punch saw a growth of 66 percent, compared to the 10,990 units sold in June 2023. The pricing of the Tata Punch ranges from Rs 6.13 lakh to Rs 10.20 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It is available in more than 20 variants with different sets of features.
Tata Punch is equipped with a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol unit with an option of a CNG kit. The engine produces 86PS of max power and 113Nm of peak torque. The petrol-only variants come with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT, while the CNG has a manual transmission only.
The SUV promises to return a mileage of up to 20.09 kmpl on petrol and almost 26 km/kg on CNG. It features twin-cylinder technology that allows it to accommodate more boot space, making the CNG variant more practical.
Its key features include a sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, automatic climate control, a 7-inch touchscreen, electronically folding mirrors, a cooled glovebox, and more.
Tata Motors has created its image as a safe vehicle manufacturing company, and Punch is no different. Global NCAP awarded the Punch a 5-star rating. It comes with 2 airbags, ABS, EBD, TPMS, a reversing camera with guidelines, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
