Skoda Kylaq Details: Skoda India has finally entered the sub-4 metre SUV segment, dominated by the Tata Nexon and Maruti Brezza, with the all-new Skoda Kylaq, starting from Rs 7.89 lakh. However, the price list and variant details will be revealed soon. Bookings will open on 2nd December, with deliveries beginning on 27th January. The model will make its first public appearance on 17th January at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show.

Kylaq comes with the brand's signature radiator grille, new LED projector headlamps with a split setup, LED DRLs placed above, a dual-tone bumper with cladding, and a pronounced bonnet.

Other design highlights include 17-inch rims, blacked-out alloy wheels, squarish wheel arches, a shark-fin antenna, roof rails in a black finish, pentagon-shaped taillamps with LED inserts.

Its overall length is 3,995mm. This subcompact SUV offers a ground clearance of 189mm. It boasts a best-in-class boot space of 446 litres, which can be further expanded by folding the 60:40 split rear seats. For safety, it comes with six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, Isofix child seat mounts, and an electronic differential lock.

Kylaq features a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a two-spoke steering wheel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, a single-pane sunroof, ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, keyless entry, and powered seat adjustment for both the driver and front passenger.

The Skoda Kushaq comes equipped with a 1.0L, 3-cylinder TSI petrol engine, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This turbocharged engine produces 115bhp and 178Nm of torque, enabling the compact SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 10.5 seconds (claimed).
