Solar-Powered Electric Car- Vayve Eva: Pune-based Vayve Mobility launched India's first solar-powered electric car, Eva, in three variants: Nova, Stella, and Vega. With the battery rental plan, the prices are Rs 3.25 lakh, Rs 3.99 lakh, and Rs 4.49 lakh, respectively, while without the battery rental plan, they are Rs 3.99 lakh, Rs 4.99 lakh, and Rs 5.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

All three variants of Vayve Eva- Nova, Stella, and Vega - come with different battery pack options of 9 kWh, 12 kWh, and 18 kWh, respectively. While Nova and Stella offer a power output of 16 PS, the Vega chunks out 20 PS. With the RWD setup, the Eva offers a claimed (by Vayve) range of up to 250 km.

According to the company, the battery pack can be subscribed to for Rs 2 per kilometer driven with a minimum cap of 600 km for Nova, 800 km for Stella and 1200 km for Vega. It means you will be charged for these minimum distances, even if you do not drive the Eva.
