BH Series Number Plate Eligibility Criteria: Government employees (state and central governments), defense personnel, bank employees, and employees of private companies having offices in more than four states or UTs (union territories) are eligible to apply for the BH Series number plate.

BH Series Number Plate Key Benefits: As per the rules, a vehicle registered in a particular state can only be allowed to be used in another state for up to 12 months. To use beyond this period required re-registration of vehicle in the respective state. Here the role of the BH series number plate comes into play. It allows the vehicle to be used across the country, without re-registration, when relocating to a new state, saving time and paperwork.

How To Apply For BH Series Number Plate: You can apply for a BH series number plate through MoRTH's Vahan portal. However, to make the process smoother, assistance from your vehicle dealer would be a great help, who can fill out Form 20 on your behalf. 

For this, private sector employees will need to submit Form 60 (Working Certificate) along with their official employee ID, issued by the company. The "BH" series is selected during the application, and the required fees to be paid online.

BH Series Number Plate's Required Documents: This will require a PAN card, Aadhaar card, official ID card, and Form 60 of the individual, in whose name the vehicle is to be registered.

BH Series Number Plate Road Tax: Vehicles registered under the BH series are charged road tax for two years or in multiples of two. After 14 years, the tax is payable annually.
