Attention 2023 Scorpio-N Owners: Mahindra Announces Recall To Fix THESE Things

Mahindra recalled the Scorpio-N to replace the alternator pulley, re-torque the nut on the steering input shaft, and fit an additional clip on the transmission wiring (for automatic transmission units), according to the reports.

Additionally, the service centre will also run two software flashes – for the SRS ECU and the EMS ECU. The customers will not be charged for any of these services. This recall pertains to the vehicles of model-year 2023.

The company has started reaching out to customers who are affected from the recall. You can also check with the service centre directly or book an appointment through the “Mahindra for you” app.

This is not the first time when Mahindra recalled the Scorpio-N. Earlier 6,618 units of the Scorpio-N equipped with a MT, manufactured between July and November 2022 were recalled to inspect and replace a rubber bellow inside the clutch bell housing.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N was launched in June 2022 at starting price of Rs 11.99 Lakh (Introductory, Ex-Showroom). Currently, It is priced between Rs 13.85 Lakh to Rs 24.54 Lakh, (ex-showroom pan-India).
