TV actress Ankita Bhargava suffers a miscarriage

New Delhi: Popular television actor Karan Patel's wife Ankita Bhargava has suffered a miscarriage. The actress met with an untoward incident a day after attending the Gold Awards 2018 reportedly. 

According to Timesofindia.com, Ankita's father Abhay Bhargava, who is a veteran television and theatre personality confirmed the news and said that the actress is currently recovering and keeping fine. In this crucial moment, the family urged for privacy. 

Karan had in the month of May revealed about wifey Ankita's pregnancy in an adorable post on Instagram. The couple got married on May 3, 2015, in Mumbai. Karan is an A-lister telly actor, who currently plays the lead in Ekta Kapoor's hit daily soap ' Ye Hai Mohabbatein' opposite Divyanka Tripathi. 

Ankita too has featured in several popular TV shows. She was first seen in 'Sanjivani' back in 2002. She then went on to star in 'Mrs. Tendulkar', 'Dekha Ek Khwaab', 'Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein', 'Ekk Nayi Pehchaan' and 'Reporters' to name a few.

She is also active on the theatre circuit like her father and mother. Ankita was also seen in Bollywood movies such as 'Action Jackson' and 'Akira'.
