Sonu Nigam's Twitter tirade against Azaan angers Tweeple; singer faces backlash! Check out his TWEETS

New Delhi: Popular Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam woke up to a not-so-good Monday. The singer took to his Twitter and posted a series tweets on a rather sensitive issue in the country. He drew religious ire for tweeting about Azaan and how he is not a Muslim and yet has to get up each morning to the sound of it.

Sonu tweeted:

God bless everyone. I'm not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India — Sonu Nigam (@sonunigam) April 16, 2017

This has drawn a lot of flak on the micro-blogging site and tweeple have not taken it in a good way. The singer's religious ranting has come as an utter shock to his fans who found it completely uncalled for.
