Royal good news! Meghan Markle-Prince Harry welcome baby boy

New Delhi: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become proud parents to a baby boy. The Duchess of Sussex went into labour on Monday morning reportedly.

The official Instagram handle of the Duchess and Duke of Sussex posted: “We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. The baby boy is the couple's first child and happens to be the seventh in line to the British throne.

ANI quoted Prince Harry as saying: "Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex: Meghan and myself had a baby boy early this morning, mother and the baby are doing incredibly well. It is the most amazing experience. We are both thrilled, grateful to all the support. I'm over the moon, proud of my wife."

When 37-year-old Meghan went into labour, husband Prince Harry was by her side. The Royal Family official Twitter handle shared that "The Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage. Her Royal Highness and the baby are both doing well."
