New Delhi: Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is currently undergoing medical treatment for his illness in New York. The Kapoor senior is accompanied by his wife Neetu and son Ranbir. While the actor has urged for privacy at this time, he is making sure to keep his social media account active.

He shared his selfie with none other than the Hollywood bigshot Robert De Niro. Rishi Kapoor and son Ranbir had a chance meeting with the renowned actor-director at NYC and shared the picture with fans.

He wrote: “Wow moment. Impromptu meeting with Robert De Nero on 65th and 3rd. He knew Ranbir coz he had met him and Anupam and said come over with Kher for a drink! Simplicity and super stardom. I realized I have been such a bloody brat. Cannot get over his demeanor. Thank you Bob!”

Looks like a fanboy moment for the Kapoors!

A few days back, Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter and shared the news of his ill health. He wrote: “Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my wellwishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus” of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,Iwill be back soon!”
