However, recently there was a strong rumour about Nawaz having trouble in his marriage. The 'Raees' actor has now finally spoken on the issue and slammed all such reports. According to Mid-Day.com, a few days back Nawaz sent a legal notice to a popular magazine for running a piece on how his personal life is in turmoil and that he is heading for a divorce.
The report quotes the actor as saying, "I guess it [rumours] comes with stardom. They are ridiculous. We are happily married. We are parents to our wonderful kids. She has seen me through highs and lows. People write whatever suits their sensational tastes. I am learning to laugh these things off.
Nawazuddin is married to Anjali and the couple is blessed with a daughter named Shora and a son.
He said this during an interview for the promotions of his upcoming film, Nandita Das' biopic on Saadat Hasan Manto.
