Irrfan Pathan, Gauhar Khan grace Baramulla Youth Festival 2018
Baramulla Youth Festival 2018 was organised by Indian army’s 19 Division at Showkat Ali Stadium Khawajabagh Baramulla in which people from all walks of life participated with great enthusiasm especially youth of the district.

Renowned cricketer Irfan Pathan and Bollywood actress Gowhar Khan were the special guests who lauded the efforts of the army to bring the youth of valley towards sports and peace
Addressing the gathering Gowhar Khan thanked Indian army and local administration for the youth festival. She said that Kashmir youth are very much talented and need support from officials to chase their dreams.
Irfan Pathan while quoting his father's hard work as how he worked hard to make the Pathan brother's to represent Indian cricket team and achieve respect, said that problems will stop you to move ahead and achieve your dreams but you have to work hard. The youth of Kashmir has great talent but you have to work hard.
Officials from the army, district administration, police and youth of Baramulla were present at the youth festival. Besides army had organised a job fair where hundreds of youth registered their names with top companies and 5 youth were given on spot job offers by the companies.
Various cultural programmes were organised by school children and prize distribution was organised at the end of the program where winners were given prizes for their exemplary performance in cycling, race, football match, dance, singing and other competitions.
