Former 'Bigg Boss' contestant Ajaz Khan arrested for possession of ecstasy

New Delhi: Controversial 'Bigg Boss' contestant Ajaz Khan has been arrested from a hotel in Belapur, Maharashtra for possessing banned drug ecstasy. The actor will be produced in court today.

He possessed as many as 8 tablets of the banned drug, as per ANI. The Anti-Narcotics Cell of Navi Mumbai Police held the actor for alleged possession of banned drugs on Monday night. The prohibited 'ecstasy' tablets are popular in rave parties.

This is not the first time that Ajaz has been arrested. According to IANS, Two years ago, he was arrested and released on bail on charges of sending obscene pictures and lewd messages to a beautician who had offered him a business project proposal.

Ajaz participated in the reality show 'Bigg Boss' season 7 as a wild card entry. He also entered the show in season 8. He remained one of the most talked about and controversial celebrity inside the house. He has acted in several TV shows and movies.

He was seen in Rakta Charitra, Bhondu, Allah Ke Banday, Rakta Charitra 2, Hai tujhe Salam India to name a few.
