New Delhi: Fomer Bigg Boss contestant on Monday was arrested for possessing banned narcotic substance-ecstacy. The actor has been sent to two days police custody.

According to an ANI report, Ajaz has been sent to two days police custody. He was arrested from a hotel in Belapur by Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai police last night, in possession of banned narcotic substance (8 ecstasy tablets).

This is not the first time that Ajaz has been arrested. According to IANS, Two years ago, he was arrested and released on bail on charges of sending obscene pictures and lewd messages to a beautician who had offered him a business project proposal.

Ajaz participated in the reality show 'Bigg Boss' season 7 as a wild card entry. He also entered the show in season 8. He remained one of the most talked about and controversial celebrity inside the house. He has acted in several TV shows and movies.

He was seen in Rakta Charitra, Bhondu, Allah Ke Banday, Rakta Charitra 2, Hai tujhe Salam India to name a few.
