Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh engaged? Here's what the actress has to say

New Delhi: Bollywood current number one actress Deepika Padukone has all the reasons to be happy. After all, her much-awaited film Padmaavat has hit the screens finally. Mired in controversies ever since its inception, the film has managed to release pan India amid tight security arrangements ensured by the state governments respectively.

Now, coming to her personal life. Deepika and Ranveer Singh are rumoured to be dating each other but neither of them has publicly made the relationship status clear.

They are seen together at various parties and often hang out with each other at duos. Recently, Deepika and her sister Anisha Padukone were guests at Neha Dhupia's BFF with Vogue chat show and the actress was given a volley of fun questions to answer.

According to Pinkvilla.com, during the interactive chat session, the host of the show Neha quizzed Dippy darling over her engagement rumour which had caught fire during the New Year's time followed by latter's birthday week.

When asked whether she got engaged to boyfriend Ranveer in the Maldives, the actress said, “I was not engaged.” But the tan on her finger suggested that she did wear a ring, quipped Neha.

Her sister added, “She has been engaged successively for the last four years.” The Padmaavat actress later added, “There's no such plan anytime soon. I'm not pregnant, I'm not having a baby, I'm not engaged and I'm not married. And I'm not even planning to get married anytime soon.”
